Shipping and Handling Policy

1. Free Shipping Eligibility

  • Free standard shipping applies to orders of $250 CAD or more (before taxes and excluding gift cards, table tennis tables/boards, stringing machines, and used rackets).
  • Large or oversized items (e.g., tables, machines) and certain remote areas may require additional surcharges.
  • Free shipping does not apply to used rackets, string services, gift cards or rackets with stringing services.

2. Surcharges & Additional Fees

  • PO Boxes: Extra surcharges will be quoted.
  • Oversized/Heavy Items: Surcharges are calculated based on package weight, dimensions, and delivery address.
  • Invoices: Customers will be billed after order placement for any applicable surcharges.
  • If the surcharge is refused and the customer cancels the order, a $5 transaction fee applies.
  • If customers request an address change with the courier after shipment, additional fees apply and are the customer’s responsibility. If customer wish to change your delivery address before the order ships, please email us at unicexsports@gmail.com with your order number.

3. Shipping Times & Responsibility

  • Free standard shipping delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
  • Express shipping quotes are available upon request. Please contact us at shop@unicexsports.com if you would like a quote for Express shipping services.
  • We are not liable for courier delays, missed delivery dates, or service interruptions.
  • Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the order is handed to the courier.

4. Handling Time

  • Orders are generally processed within 1–4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
  • If an item is out of stock, pre-order, or awaiting restock, we will notify you by email with an estimated shipping date.
  • Orders are fulfilled on a first-come-first-serve basis. Rush service for stringing may incur an extra fee.
  • Handling time is separate from shipping time. Weekends and holidays are not business days.

5. In-Store Pickup

Pickup is available at our retail location during business hours:

  • Mon to Sun: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: Closed
  • Sundays & Public Holidays: Closed

Important:

  • Items will only be held for 3 months. After that, products will be returned to stock, and any payment will be converted to store credit.
  • Customers must notify us if they require a longer hold period.

6. Flat Rate Shipping - Estimate only

Estimates only – final rates may vary based on order size and weight.

  • Orders over $250 CAD: Free standard shipping
  • In-store pickup: $0.00
  • Orders exceeding 8 lbs or larger than standard packaging may incur surcharges.
  • Bulk orders (e.g., 50 dozen shuttles): Please email for a custom shipping quote.
  • Contact shop@unicexsports.com for a shipping estimate.

7. Out of Stock Items

  • If an item is out of stock, we will email you with an estimated restock time.
  • If the distributor confirms the item is no longer available, a full refund will be issued for that item.

8. Inventory & Pre-Orders

  • Inventory may not always reflect real-time updates due to in-store sales. If an item is out of stock, your order may be placed on hold until restock.
  • Pre-order items require full payment in advance. Cancellation fees apply:
    • If already ordered from supplier: 10% handling fee
    • If not yet ordered: $5 transaction fee
  • Pre-order dates are estimates from suppliers. We are not liable for delays.
  • In any other case, you are required to pay an additional standard shipping fee if you would like part of your order to be shipped separately.

9. Cancellations

  • Cancellations are subjected to a non-refundable handling fee.
  • Cancellation requests must be emailed to us with your order number. Fees apply:
    • Before tracking issued: $5 CAD
    • After tracking issued, before shipment: 5% of order value
    • After shipment: 10% of order value + shipping costs
  • Credit card refunds are subject to an additional 5% processing fee.
  • Stringing services are non-refundable once performed; full stringing charges apply.
  • Orders cannot be held longer than 24 hours without confirmation.

10. In-Store Pickup

  • Pickup is available at our location during posted business hours based on available stock.
  • Items will only be held for 3 months. After that, they will be returned to stock, and any paid amount will be converted to store credit.
  • Customers must email us if extended holds are needed.

11. Damage During Transit

  • Customers must inspect packages immediately upon receipt.
  • Damage claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the product and packaging.
  • Customers must keep all packaging materials until the claim process is complete.
  • Failure to report within 48 hours or provide proof will void the damage claim.

12. Lost or Missing Packages

  • If a package is marked delivered but not received, or tracking has not updated for an extended period, customers must contact us immediately.
  • An investigation will be opened with the courier. Investigations may take up to 12 business days (or longer, depending on courier).
  • No compensation will be provided until the courier completes the investigation.

13. Wrong Items Received

  • Customers must report incorrect shipments within 48 hours of delivery with photos and order details.
  • Items must remain unused and in original packaging until resolved.

14. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must provide accurate shipping addresses at checkout. Any fees from courier address corrections are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Customers must pick up packages held at courier access points. Refused or unclaimed packages returned to us will result in:

Ø  Deduction of 10% handling fee + original shipping + return shipping from any refund.

Ø  Reshipments will require additional payment of shipping fees.

15. Exclusions

  • Certain oversized, heavy, or special-handling items are not eligible for free shipping.
  • If an order is split into multiple shipments at the customer’s request, additional shipping fees will apply unless the order total exceeds 2x the free shipping threshold.

16. Final Rights

  • We reserve the right to revise or update this policy at any time without notice.
  • All final decisions regarding shipping, surcharges, cancellations, damage claims, or refunds are at the sole discretion of the seller/vendor.
